A Little About…
G. Hilton
G. Hilton is a young photographer with the eye of Gordon Parks for capturing the times. His work picks up the baton connecting generations through photography. He depicts urban culture focusing on people interacting in unique and professional ways within society. While Parks was a humanitarian committed to social justice, G. Hilton is equally devoted to illustrating the significance of capturing human interaction candidly.
Growing up in the Baltimore-Washington area and watching the changes through technology, G. Hilton was drawn to capturing the transformation of culture and city life. After borrowing his mom’s camera, he taught himself how to shoot and later sought the help of seasoned photographers for mentorship and opportunities.
“I want people to see and experience the power of photography. To convey the message that memories are forever and that photography gives us the power to refresh our memory and immerse ourselves in events and eras we hold special to us.”
Including a collection of vibrant photographs, his work is a tapestry of vivid ebony and ivory images that consistently explore the interaction, emotions, and meaning placed deep within human culture.

Let me tell you, G. Hilton keeps me on my toes. But I must admit he also keeps me young. He’s a great and very smart young man with a big heart and has compassion for others.
It’s important to nurture your kid’s natural gifts. I saw his God given talent and I wasn’t going to allow him bury it. Like Cecily Tyson said, “Don’t have kids if you’re not going to make it worth their while.”
As a retired branding consultant and having owned a makeup studio where I also captured professional beauty shots for my clients, my goal is to work alongside G. Hilton.
We look forward to sharing his gift with you.
